1. WSF 7 years (part 1, 23 January) : Relations with progressist political
parties and governments: independence or hypocrisy?

Dialogue format with two government representatives from Brasil and Italy.

2. WSF 7 years (part 2, 23 january) - The Future of the Movements
Description : Global movement changed its strategy, its route, its way of
spreading. The question is: why? what happened? where is it now? what kind
of strategy is it following?
- if protests movements have become global democratization movements, what
about democratisation processes within the movements itself?
Coordinators : Marco Berlinguer, Ruth Reitan, Teivo Teivainen
The session will be guided by a moderator, with panelists who will be given
space for short interventions, in a participatory debate involving the public.

3. WSF 7 years (part 3, 23 January - The Future Movements of the Forum
Description : After 7 years of social fora all around the world, we find
ourselves increasingly in a moment of self-reflection, around different
questions.
How can the Forum be made politically more usefull?
In how far is the Forum a process tie-ing together the experiences in local
and regional process and how should we relate to other initiatives and
spaces, as for example the autonomous spaces around the Forum?
To what extent is the world social forum reproducing exclusions and
practices of the neocolonial capitalist order, and how can these be overcome?

A "systematization group" for WSF 7 years is being formed. Task would be to prepare an
end conclusive note, to see to the divulgation of a further systematization,
as well as to promote a continuation of the debates. The WSF 7 years website
can continue and be adapted to assist our debate as well as all of our own
sites. Nicolas, Raphael, Ruby and Ruth have signed up. Please indicate
interest to join.
